The original Chucky will kill once again on the small screen for the Syfy network’s Child’s Play TV Show, and his creator Don Mancini says the show will arrive sometime in 2020. Previously, Mancini had confirmed the show was in development, with Syfy placing an order for the upcoming series. This suggests that production for the show will likely begin soon. Little else about the project has since been revealed, but updates should hopefully be forthcoming if principal photography will take place this year....

CNN, YouTube and the Republican Party of Florida today announced that they will hold their Republican primary debate on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Like the Democratic CNN/YouTube debate, this live two-hour forum will feature video questions submitted to YouTube that will be broadcast and answered by the candidates on CNN. The main characters of the computer-animated Despicable Me franchise are the Minions and Gru, a former supervillain who eventually becomes a father, husband, and secret agent. In a story from Entertainment Weekly, Steven Spielberg could be helping Fox on Monday when the network announces its fall 2010 lineup in New York. According to sources, Steven Spielberg, who is producing Fox’s Terra Nova, has taped a special introductory message that is going to “be presented to advertisers if the network orders the show to series.” Terra Nova focuses on a family 100 years into the future that goes back to the prehistoric era....

The horror genre has been good to filmmaker Eli Roth, but he’s venturing outside the genre for his next project. Reuters recently caught up with the writer-director at the music industry’s NME Awards ceremony in Los Angeles and he said his next project will not be rated R and it will also not be a horror film. Roth told reporters that he is just weeks away from finishing a big-budget sci-fi action flick that was apparently inspired by the box-office hits Cloverfield and Transformers....

Long before The Walking Dead aired the Season 6 finale this spring, we knew that the iconic comic book villain Negan would be introduced, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. This villain, who leads a group known as The Saviors, was introduced in the 100th issue of the comics, where he ambushed Rick’s group and killed Glenn (Steven Yeun). And while the ambush played out very similarly in the series, with Negan killing a random member of Rick’s crew, the identity of his victim was not revealed....

Bloody-Disgusting spoke to the producer of the remake, Brad Fuller, and he debunked the rumors that the film will be rated PG-13. “None of our remakes have been PG-13,” producer Brad Fuller told the site. “How do you remake a rated R horror movie and take the guts out literally and figuratively? Last month, we reported that Louie creator/star Louis C.K. signed a three-year deal to develop new shows for the FX Network under his Pig Newton production company. Today, the comedian has landed his first project under that pact, an untitled sitcom pilot that he co-wrote with Zach Galifianakis. No story details were released, but Zach Galifianakis is attached to star in the comedy series and executive produce with Louis C.K., Blair Breard, Dave Becky, Andrea Pett-Joseph and Marc Gurvitz....
