A brand new banner image of David Tennant in the upcoming remake of Fright Night has just been uncovered. Click on the photo below to access our gallery from this new movie, directed by Craig Gillespie. Anton Yelchin plays Charlie, a teen convinced that his new neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. Toni Collette will play the teen’s disbelieving mom, who falls under the vampire’s spell. David Tennant will play Peter Vincent, a character who in the original movie was played by Roddy McDowall as the host of a late-night horror show....

Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, Sonya Balmores, and Ellen Woglom will round out the cast of “Marvel’s Inhumans television series for ABC. This completes the casting for key roles in this groundbreaking series. Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. FOX has ordered a sixth season of American Dad!, the animated series featuring security-obsessed CIA agent and devoted family man Stan Smith (Seth MacFarlane). Recently honored with an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program, American Dad! airs Sundays (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The series continues to follow the twisted trials and tribulations of die-hard Republican and card-carrying NRA member Stan Smith and his hilariously odd family in Langley Falls, VA....

The cast of 1923, the next prequel series in the world of Yellowstone, continues to expand. It has now been reported (via Deadline) that Game of Thrones star Jerome Flynn has just boarded the cast. In the series, Flynn will be playing Banner Creighton, a character described as a “hard-headed Scottish brogue and the leader of the local sheep men.” Recently, it had been reported that Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sons of Anarchy) has also been cast in the series....

Just hours after this Sunday’s Game of Thrones episode was leaked accidentally by HBO, the network has sent out 12 new photos for Beyond the Wall. After news of the leak broke, the episode was being called Death Is the Enemy. But now the episode title is officially confirmed. It airs Sunday, August 20 at 9 PM ET on HBO. The remake of Stephen King’s Children of the Corn has been in a state of limbo for two years, but finally looks set to be released very soon. NBC builds two nights of Halloween-themed programming as the final season debut of Chuck (Fridays, 8-9 p.m. ET) and the series premiere of new drama Grimm (Fridays, 9-10 p.m. ET) will begin on Friday, October 28. Likewise, Halloween-themed episodes of NBC’s Thursday-night comedies - Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office, and Whitney – will be telecast October 27 in recognition of the holiday. An upcoming biography of a historical figure is making way for a film project with an A-list star being planned for the lead. USA Today is reporting that producer Scott Rudin has optioned a new biography on Cleopatra with plans to turn it into a film starring Angelina Jolie. The news came out of a luncheon to promote the book Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff where it was announced that Rudin had purchased the rights to the book and was developing a it as a film project....

Sports coverage is finally about to get some integrity. Comedy Central has picked-up The Onion Sports Network pilot and placed a 10-episode series order for The Onion Sports Network (working title), it was announced today by Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production, Comedy Central. The scripted series from The Onion, based on its popular Onion Sports Network online video series, is set to premiere 1Q 2011. “The Onion has such credibility in the comedy world, we feel fortunate to partner with them,” said Alterman....

HBO has decided to pull the plug on the dramatic comedy series Enlightened, just two weeks after Season 2 wrapped up its eight-episode run. Here’s the official statement released by the network regarding the cancellation. Series stars Laura Dern and Mike White co-created the show that followed Amy Jellicoe (Laura Dern), who decides to live a more enlightened life following an office meltdown.
