Carmen (Natascha McElhone) has lived a life of servitude, taking care of her brother since he entered the priesthood of their Church. That is, until, her brother passes away, leaving her in tears, praying at a pew. The confession booth door to her left slowly opens and inside sits a pigeon. This intrigues her as she enters. Thus begins Carmen being mistaken for the priest inside the confession booth. She continues this act from inside the booth and eventually meets and falls in love with Paulo (Steve Love), inspiring a refreshing outlook on life, all while appearing younger and younger as their relationship grows....

We don’t have any cover art as of yet, but the standard Unrated DVD will be priced at $28.96 SRP and the Blu-ray, which will contain both the rated and unrated versions of the film, will cost $39.95 SRP. The Flash season 3 is speeding very quickly to the finale, which unfortunately doesn’t air until next month. But we already have a pretty good look at what we’re going to be in for. Apparently, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) hasn’t learned anything about time traveling, so he is heading to the future yet again in “The Once and Future Flash.” The CW has released a trailer for the upcoming finale, which gives us a pretty good look at what appears to be an intense, bleak and action-packed conclusion to season 3....

According to Variety, Walden Media’s Chronicles of Narnia series will continue with a new partner, 20th Century Fox. When Walt Disney Pictures left the project, Fox got the first chance to make The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader due to the shared Fox Walden marketing and distribution label. The label made the promise to make the project. The plan is for a 2010 release via the Fox Walden label....

While we have yet to hear an official confirmation from FX yet, Global News is reporting that The Strain has been picked up for a second season. Production is scheduled to begin on Season 2 this November in Toronto. Shooting on Season 1 of The Strain took place between September 2013 to late April in Toronto. Naturally, since the renewal hasn’t been confirmed by FX yet, it isn’t clear which cast members are coming back, especially since we’re not even halfway through The Strain’s first season....

NBC announced that Emmy winner and comedy superstar Chevy Chase (Caddyshack, Fletch) begins filming this week on NBC’s Law & Order. Chase guest stars as a television celebrity who is pulled over for drunk driving while wearing blood-soaked clothes, and whose religious prejudice comes out after his arrest. The episode titled “In Vino Veritas” is slated to air on Friday, November 3, 10-11 p.m ET/PT. Chase first came to national prominence as a writer and performer with the original cast of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, for which he won two Emmy Awards....

Marvel star Chris Hemsworth will reportedly play the villain in the upcoming post-apocalypse sequel, Mad Max: Furiosa. Appearing on the podcast Blank Check with Griffin & David, The New York Times reporter Kyle Buchanan, who also wrote the book “Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild and True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road,” revealed that the Thor: Love and Thunder actor will play the antagonist in director George Miller’s prequel. Hemsworth’s character will also be given a name perfect for the warped world of Mad Max....

NBC announced today that actress Angélica Celaya has joined the cast of NBC’s Constantine, playing Zed from the original Hellblazer comic books. Lucy Griffiths played the female lead character Liv in the pilot episode, but we reported last week that the character is being written off the show, to be replaced with a character from the comic books. Liv was created specifically for the show, but the creators decided to go in a different direction, which lead to Angélica Celaya’s casting....

The Good Ivan Thompson is a different breed of male and it was great getting to know him here. The Bad This documentary might have played a little better if Ivan had matched up a lot more people. Cowboy del Amor is an interesting tale that predominantly focuses on Ivan Thompson. Calling himself the “Cowboy Cupid,” Thompson spends his days finding Mexican wives for American men who want a different kind of woman....

Sorry, Ralph Fiennes, it’s indisputable J.K. Rowling is transphobic and regularly engages in textbook cisnormative bullying and harassment of the transgender community. But while the author’s beliefs about the trans community are no longer debatable, ex-Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe wants his fans to know that not everyone from the WB franchise shares her hateful and prejudiced beliefs. After a couple of years of avoiding direct questions about her anti-trans beliefs, instead claiming that a “like” on a 2018 tweet referring to trans women as “men in dresses” was a “finger slip” and “clumsy and middle-aged moment,” JKR decided it was time to officially row with the LGBTQ+ community on December 19, 2019, when she tweeted in defense of Maya Forstater, a global development expert who alleged that she lost her contract at a think tank after a series of transphobic tweets....

After putting Brendan Fraser into the Oscar conversation with The Whale, perhaps Darren Aronofsky will have Chris Hemsworth leading his next film. Aronofsky, whose previous films include titles like Black Swan and The Wrestler, also collaborated with Hemsworth on the series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth. The National Geographic documentary series is executive produced by Aronofsky and follows Hemsworth putting himself through extreme physical challenges to help viewers better understand aging and mortality....

A new story has arrived from the mind of David Duchovny, best known for his work on The X-Files. Besides acting as one of the series leads, Fox Mulder, Duchovny also assisted in writing or co-writing several episodes. Such as “The Unnatural,” which was also directed by him. He has also been promoting his new book, The Reservoir. Per KGW, The Reservoir is a dark story but contains Duchovny’s humor throughout....

Summit Entertainment and Participant Media, in association with Imagenation Abu Dhabi have acquired the feature film rights to The New York Times article titled Deepwater Horizon’s Final Hour published December 25, 2010 written by David Barstow, David Rohde, and Stephanie Saul. A planned filmed adaptation of the article will depict the courage of those who worked on the oil rig and the final minutes leading up to the disaster that ultimately led to great devastation that will forever be remembered....

When Marvel’s What If…? introduced zombies to the MCU there were instantly whispers that this may not the be only time we see the shambling monsters appearing, with some even going as far as to suggest that a live-action iteration could be on the cards. That isn’t a reality yet, but we are getting a brand new series in the newly announced Marvel Zombies animated show, which is now in development for Disney+....

Due for release later this week, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promises to open up the MCU to the multiverse like never before, with The Master of the Mystic Arts’ latest adventure resulting in Marvel’s first horror movie. Well, somewhat surprisingly, it sounds like the Doctor Strange sequel has seriously succeeded in that regard....

History was officially made at the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy awards last night. Donald Glover was nominated for his directing work on Atlanta. Specifically, for the episode B.A.N. And he won. That marks the first time in the history of the Emmys that a black director took home the prize in the Directing for a Comedy Series category. Glover beat out Jamie Babbit (Silicon Valley), Mike Judge (Silicon Valley), Morgan Sackett (Veep), David Mandel (Veep) and Dale Stern (Veep) in order to bring home his historic win....
