Filming has begun on Extraction 2. On Instagram, director Sam Hargrave shared a video announcing that cameras are now officially rolling on the anticipated sequel which brings back Chris Hemsworth for another action adventure. It looks to be a very cold day on the set but Hargrave is clearly very excited to get started in the footage. You can check it out below. This is some bad news for Eyes Wide Shut fans. In a story from The Digital Bits, it seems that there was some confusion about the new Warner Bros. release of this film. It was thought that the Eyes Wide Shut - Special Edition would contain both the Unrated and Theatrical versions of this film. In a statement from Warner Bros. this appears to not be the case: “On October 23, 2007, WHV released the Special Edition of Eyes Wide Shut on standard definition DVD, and on HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc, and as part of the 6-Title Stanley Kubrick Collection....

As unfair as it may be, and despite how much I enjoyed the show, I felt the first two seasons of Falling Skies were too similar to AMC’s The Walking Dead, in many ways. Yes, I know, one is aliens and the other is zombies, but they both had that same sort of on-the-road survival feel, with a massive worldwide threat that those of us in the real world can’t possibly comprehend because, well, there has never been a zombie infestation or attacking aliens on our planet....

The Good Brimming with extras on the process of how this movie was made and a bunch of games, Ferngully should be a bargain for both the price and the content. The Bad Sadly, this is another DVD in which the supplemental features supplant the actual movie. While technically I don’t think there is anything wrong with the film, it’s story just hasn’t grabbed me in the two separate decades I have screened it....

Heritage Auctions sold the Ferrari 250 GT California from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at auction on December 17. At least, the last one was. Three cars were made for the film, and this was the last one available for purchase. You can’t actually drive the Ferrari because, according to Entertainment Weekly, it’s missing the engine and drivetrain on account of it not being an actual car. It was a movie prop built to be used in the film and rebuilt to be a display piece after filming....

AMC has released a new The Walking Dead season 10 image and it’s intense. The network is preparing for this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con craziness by giving a little tease featuring Danai Gurira’s Michonne and a very unlucky zombie. The show’s panel is all set to take place this Friday at Hall H, where all of the major studios reveal their biggest news for the year. AMC’s The Walking Dead has been a hit at the annual event ever since it debuted back in 2010....

The fact that Fire Island has earned a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes only a couple of days after its premiere on Hulu is just one of the many reasons to add it to your watchlist. This movie, directed by Andrew Ahn and starring Joel Kim Booster, Bowen Yang, Conrad Ricamora, and Margaret Cho, is making waves, having already earned a spot among the best LGBTQ+ rom-coms in history. Like many other productions throughout cinema history, Fire Island was inspired by Jane Austen’s novel Pride and Prejudice, but with an interesting twist featuring diverse characters that add some freshness to a movie genre that, unfortunately, doesn’t display as much queer representation as it should....

HBO dropped some surprise footage just a few hours before the 91st Academy Awards. In the lengthy sizzle reel, we are treated to the very first footage from the Deadwood movie, along with some pretty crazy new footage from Game of Thrones and the Watchmen series. 2019 is going to be a huge year for the network and the three aforementioned titles are just scratching the surface as for what was just teased to be released in the near future....

Fans of the hit AMC series Breaking Bad, which just ended its five-season run last weekend, can relive this journey all over again, in Spanish. The first trailer and photo have been released for Metastasis, a Spanish-language remake of Breaking Bad starring Diego Trujillo as high school chemistry teacher Walter Blanco, who starts making meth to provide a future for his family, after being diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Rounding out the cast is Roberto Urbina as Walter’s partner Jose Miguel Rosas, Sandra Reyes as Walter’s wife Cielo and Julián Arango as Walter’s brother-in-law and Colombian narcotics agent, Henry Navarro....

Fox TV Studios is teaming with Mexican media giant Televisa for Persons Unknown, starring Oscar winner Christopher McQuarrie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, FtvS will make 13 episodes of Persons Unknown, which will start filming Oct. 27 in Mexico. Persons Unknown is executive produced by The Usual Suspects writer McQuarrie, his wife and producing partner Heather McQuarrie and the series’ showrunner Remi Aubuchon. Persons Unknown is a mystery drama about seven strangers – four of them played by Alan Ruck, Chadwick Boseman, Gerald Kyd and Kate Lang Johnson – who wake up in a deserted town with no recollection of how they got there, only to realize that they are watched by omnipresent security cameras and that there is no escape....

Earlier today we reported that a shiny new Ferrari will be the latest Autobot in Transformers 3 and now we have word on who some of the newest cast members will be. Deadline New York is reporting that Frances McDormand, John Malkovich and Ken Jeong have joined the cast of Michael Bay’s Transformers 3. McDormand will play the key role of National Intelligence Director while Malkovich will play the first boss of Shia LaBeouf’s Sam Witwicky character....

Life might be imitating art as there are rumors swirling that Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer have started dating. For ten seasons on the popular comedy series, Aniston played Rachel Green alongside Schwimmer’s Ross Geller. Their on again, off again relationship was one of the show’s most compelling ongoing storylines, culminating with Rachel and Ross winding up together for good at the very end. Two decades after the series ended its run, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer joined their other Friends co-stars for the HBO Max special Friends: The Reunion....

Despite audiences having only just basked in the continuing greatness that is Cobra Kai season 4, co-creators Josh Heald and Josh Hurwitz are already looking as far into the future with a potential season 6. During an interview with Collider, Heald revealed that the team behind the hugely popular Netflix show are now planning out not only a sixth season, but also their ultimate endgame, all the while evolving characters and plot points across the entirety of Cobra Kai’s run so far and into potential seasons to come....

When Cobra Kai was initially released in May 2018 on YouTube Red, no one could believe the success it would become. It had been decades since Karate Kid had ended, almost three to be exact. Besides a 2010 reboot film starring Jaden Smith, it seemed like all the stories had been told. However, that was not to be the case. Danny Trejo, one of the most recognizable faces in action cinema, has had roles in dozens of movies over the last several decades. The rumors were true. Daredevil is back. And he has been super suit shopping. Glimpsed (very) briefly in the latest trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Matt Murdock will sport a yellow and red suit when he makes his comeback. While the footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con was a little dark, thanks to some Marvel fans and their expertise in brightening an image, we now have a much better idea of what The Man Without Fear will look like when he leaps into action alongside She-Hulk....
