The cast for Fargo season 3 is really starting to take shape as yet another impressive and interesting cast member has joined the series. Comedian Jim Gaffigan has been enlisted as a series regular for the returning FX hit, which is expected to debut in the fall of 2017. He will be playing a police deputy named Donny Mashman, which seems pretty appropriate. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that showrunner Noah Hawley brought Jim Gaffigan onto the series for the upcoming season, which is rumored to be taking place in 2010....

The first poster for the superbly titled Cocaine Bear is exactly what you would want it to be and more. New Line/Warner Bros. has revealed the trailer for the romantic comedy Going the Distance, directed by Nanette Burstein, and coming to theaters August 27th. In the film, Erin and Garrett are good together–even when they’re apart. When aspiring journalist Erin (Drew Barrymore) moves to San Francisco to finish her last year of school, boyfriend Garrett (Justin Long), an assistant music scout, stays in Manhattan to pursue his ambitions and wait on that promotion he’s been promised....

According to Variety, Paul Greengrass has started shooting Flight 93 at London’s Pinewood Studios for Working Title Films and Universal Pictures. The semi-improvised movie tells the story of United Airlines 93, the last of the four aircraft hijacked on Sept. 11, 2001. Passenger action caused the plane to crash before it reached its target. The pic will unspool in real time, tracking what was happening inside the aircraft as well as on the ground....

Food Network announced new presenters for its first-ever awards show, the Food Network Awards. The Awards will tape February 23 at the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival. The 90-minute ceremony will premiere on Food Network, Sunday, April 15th at 9 PM ET/PT. World-renowned chef Emeril Lagasse will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Lagasse will both introduce members of the Food Network family who will present awards, as well as present select awards himself throughout the show....

Big news is coming out of Wonder Con, as comic publishing company Boom Studios and Fox Atomic announced that they have formed a co-publishing agreement to produce comics based on Fox Atomic film properties. Fox Atomic editor-in-chief R. Eric Lieb spoke to MTV about the deal. “We’ll be doing a number of established properties that people will be instantly familiar with and some older properties that might need a brand new coat of paint,” Lieb said....

I just got off the phone with the always-awesome Craig Robinson for tomorrow’s new release Hot Tub Time Machine which arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on June 29.
