After weeks of speculation regarding the fate of Fox’s Lethal Weapon and its star Clayne Crawford, following allegations of emotional abuse and bad behavior on set, the network issued a Season 3 renewal, while replacing Clayne Crawford with Seann William Scott, who will play a new character who partners with Murtagh (Damon Wayans). Now that the renewal has been secured, Damon Wayans spoke out against Clayne Crawford in a series of tweets, which included a video of the actor getting hit by shrapnel during a scene of an episode Crawford directed....

We reported back in May that David O. Russell was in talks to direct an upcoming video game adaptation and now it seems that deal has fallen through. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that David O. Russell won’t be directing Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. It was said that Russell had been in talks to direct the film, but the site revealed that, in the past few weeks, Sony and Russell could not make a deal and decided to part ways....

Producer David Permut has picked up a Tony Gittelson script A Life in the Day, about Brian Epstein, the first Beatles manager who discovered the quartet in 1961 and managed them until 1967, when he died of a drug overdose at 32. According to Variety, the deal comes at a time when the popularity of the Beatles is soaring with album reissues due next month as well as the launch of “The Beatles: Rock Band” videogame....

M. Night Shyamalan’s new thriller Devil will be released on both Blu-ray and DVD formats on December 21. You can take home the most dangerous forensic expert home to DVD this August. Dexter: The Complete Second Season is coming to DVD on August 19. Das Gamer recently interviewed Max Payne director John Moore, and the man is very upset about his film receiving an R rating. His claim is that the adult rating could greatly affect box office. Not one to shy away from his concerns, Moore stated, “The Motion Picture Association of America gave The Dark Knight a PG-13 rating and basically sucked Warner Bros.’ (explicative).” Both Moore and 20th Century Fox went into Max Payne with the intentions of making a PG-13 rated film....

The Simpsons is now available to stream on Disney+ in almost all of its entirety, but many longtime fans are disappointed with how the episodes are presented. Writer-director Richard Kelly has found the first cast member for his thriller Corpus Christi, with Édgar Ramírez signing on. Édgar Ramírez will play Paciencia De La Rosa, an Iraq War veteran who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, and strikes up a bizarre relationship with his boss, an affluent owner of a grocery store chain. Richard Kelly is directing Corpus Christi from his own original screenplay. He will also produce alongside his Darko Entertainment partner Sean McKittrick and Eli Roth....
