Fear the Walking Dead squanders the emotional high of losing Nick (Frank Dillane). Last week’s surprise death of a primary character hit like a ton of bricks. The follow-up episode, as this entire franchise has been prone to do, is mostly filler. Buried does reveal one more secret, but it plays out in a strange way. Fox’s long-rumored Prison Break spinoff is taking on its own shape. Executive producer Matt Olmstead and co-executive producer Zack Estrin said Monday that they’ve ditched their previous plan to introduce a female character in the regular series and then spin her off into a separate show set in a women’s prison. One of pro wrestling’s biggest stars has joined the cast of Dark Match, a horror movie that’s now in the works. The movie’s title is a pro wrestling reference, as “dark match” is terminology used to describe untelevised wrestling matches. At least one actual pro wrestler will be featured in a key role, as All Elite Wrestling grappler Chris Jericho has been announced as part of the cast. Per Deadline, Dark Match will also star Ayisha Issa (Transplant), Steven Ogg (Better Call Saul), Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries), Michael Eklund (Wynonna Earp), and Jonathan Cherry (Goon)....
