Discovery+ has unveiled the release date and premiered the first trailer for House of Hammer, a docuseries focusing on Armie Hammer’s sexual abuse allegations from 2021. The show promises to dissect his entire family tree, discovering what led to the actor’s downfall. The three-part series will investigate text messages from Hammer to various women while interviewing at least two of his alleged victims for a first-hand account of what happened. House of Hammer will include audio messages captured from his alleged victims, some of which can be heard in the trailer....

A Doctor Strange 2 reunion happened on Saturday Night Live over the weekend when Elizabeth Olsen suddenly showed up. Timed with the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, star Benedict Cumberbatch returned to SNL to serve as the host of Saturday night’s newest episode. Arcade Fire served as the musical guest. During the episode, a sketch aired featuring Cumberbatch playing himself. He was joined by SNL cast member Chloe Fineman who was attempting to impress the actor with her impersonations, ready to fill in for any of her co-stars as the show’s “Understudy....

Marvel’s Eternals was an epic blockbuster even by MCU standards, with a story that spanned thousands of years, a whole host of new characters being introduced and some pretty spectacular special effects throughout. When it comes to the latter of these, it was therefore surprising that the post-credit scene of the movie seemed to perform something of a misstep as it introduced Harry Styles’ Eros and Pip the Troll. While Styles’s appearance was not an issue, many fans were quick to point out that something about Pip just seemed rushed and very out of line with the usually perfect Marvel CGI effects....

Production commenced yesterday in Los Angeles for CBS’s new summer series Extant, starring Academy Award winner Halle Berry and produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios. Acclaimed director Allen Coulter (Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos) is directing the first episode. Extant, which premieres Wednesday, July 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, is a mystery thriller about a female astronaut trying to reconnect with her family after returning from a year in outer space....

The Good This show deals with issues and ideas that all people go through. The writing and acting are tops. Very good Special Features. The Bad A few commentary tracks would have been really nice. The Facts of Life: The Complete First and Second Seasons is very interesting because rarely in these sets do we see a show get slimmed down from one season to the next....

Father-Son duo Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell are the new cast members signed for the upcoming series Godzilla & The Titans. Earlier reports have revealed that Wyatt was already in consideration for a role in the series. The series is set in the Monsterverse and is being created by Star Trek: Enterprise’s Chris Black and Eisner Award-winning comic book writer Matt Fraction. The duo is also penning the series. Per the reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell has joined actors Anna Sawai (F9), Kiersey Clemons (The Flash), and Joe Tippet (Mare of Easttown), who together forms up the significant cast....
