Universal Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for director Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood, which opens in theaters May 14 . The action adventure stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, Matthew Macfadyen, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Lea Seydoux, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle, Danny Huston and Max von Sydow. In the film, a love triangle forms between the legendary do-gooder Robin Hood, his Maid Marian and the archer’s arch nemesis, the Sheriff of Nottingham....

IESB reports that Chris Marquette and Dan Byrd have locked in the lead roles in Kyle Newman’s upcoming film, Revenge of the Nerds. Marquette will play the lead nerd role of Max Foster. Byrd will portray the second male lead, Owen DiMarco, the “horn dog” best friend, whose college major is women’s studies. This will be the second time that Chris Marquette has worked with Kyle Newman, the first being in the yet to be released Fanboys from the Weinstein Company....

A new Garfield movie is in the works. It’s just been announced that Chris Pratt will provide the voice of the famous orange cat in an all-new animated movie which is set for a worldwide release by Sony Pictures. Oscar-nominated writer David Reynolds (Finding Nemo) wrote the script and Mark Dindal (Chicken Little) is on board to direct, which reunites the two after they previously worked on The Emperor’s New Groove....

Community Cast Talks Return of Season 3 with Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts After a three month break and much belly aching from fans, the cult hit Community returns to NBC tonight, March 15th, at 8/7 central, with Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts. The third season of Joe Berlinger’s Conversations With a Killer docuseries is coming to Netflix this fall. Variety reports that the three-part series, focused on Jeffrey Dahmer, will launch on October 7. In 1992, Dahmer was convicted of murdering and dismembering men and boys throughout a 13-year span that began in 1978. He was sentenced to a total of 941 years in prison but was murdered by two fellow inmates in 1994....

Larry David is the hero we all need, although he is also quite lazy, in a new trailer for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 9, which pokes some fun at the superhero genre. The trailer features a few references to the show itself, including a theater marquee that only reads “Mr. Simmington” (Ricky Gervais), the Al Abbas chicken restaurant, and some graffiti in an alley that reads “Respect wood,” before we see a Bat-signal type of device on a rooftop, but instead of shining the iconic Batman logo, it shines Larry David’s face....

Following the latest episode of Star Wars Rebels, a new clip has debuted from next week’s Trial of the Darksaber. This video showcases the former leader of the Mandalorian group “The Protectors of Concord Dawn”, who tells Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) the history of the ancient Darksaber blade. Here’s how the Concord Dawn leader explains the blade, which was created by Ta Vizsla, voiced by Jon Favreau. The clip, which debuted on StarWars....

Next year is going to be a massive milestone for David Harbour. The Emmy-nominated actor is best known for his role as Chief James’ Jim’ Hopper in the Netflix supernatural drama Stranger Things. The actor’s popularity from that show has led him to worldwide acclaim, eventually landing him a prominent role in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Widow. The actor now plays Red Guardian in the shared continuity and is set to reprise his role in the forthcoming film Thunderbolts....

Deadpool 3 is on everybody’s minds as Ryan Reynolds made a huge announcement for the film: Hugh Jackman would be returning as Wolverine. The internet exploded after their announcement. Reynolds’ TikTok video was being shared all over the place, and major news outlets were publishing articles like crazy. Fans had a lot of questions, the biggest being, didn’t Wolverine die in Logan? But Reynolds and Jackman answered that in a follow-up video the next day....

With all the recent uncertainty surrounding HBO Max, it seems like anything could happen on the streaming platform. Between scrapping an almost completed Batgirl movie and the complete and utter destruction of its animated content, no series or film seems safe. Warner Bros.’ current approach to the entertainment business can best be compared to George R. R. Martin’s wantonly killing off characters in HBO’s own Game of Thrones, except they are going after tax breaks instead of the throne of Westeros....
