DreamWorks announced today that they’ve found the first phase of funding for their new studio, partnering with Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group to close the deal. Walt Disney Studios will now handle the marketing and distribution for the studio. Freddie Highmore has been signed for the title role in Imagi Studios’ CG-animated motion picture Astro Boy, it was announced by producer Maryann Garger and director David Bowers. As HBO’s Game of Thrones continues production on its eighth and final season, new photos and videos have surfaced which tease a few epic spoilers, including one involving Winterfell. Production has shifted to Dubrovnik, Croatia, with images surfacing that feature Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) together in the same scene. Given the Lannister flag flying in one photo, it seems likely that these images were taken on a King’s Landing set, which could mean that Jon Snow has travelled south again to meet with Queen Cersei....

Actors Christian Slater, Stephen Dorff, Wes Bentley and Kate Maberly have been set to star in the new thriller Rites of Passage, according to Variety. Screenwriter W. Peter Iliff (Point Break, Patriot Games) will make his directorial debut with the project, which will center around a young anthropology student who pines for a traditional ceremony to mark entry into manhood. Kevin Smith is offering his condolences after his friend and reality television star Robert Bruce passed away. Known as a cast member of the AMC series Comic Book Men, Bruce was found dead on Friday inside a New Jersey storage facility. He was 62 years old. Per NJ.com, Bruce officers responded to the City Center Plaza Professional Records Storage Facility after they’d received a call that someone reported a body in a storage unit....
