The saga of the Tanner and Fuller families will come to an end this summer, as the premiere date for the final nine episodes of Fuller House has been revealed. Between 2016 and 2019, the Full House sequel series had run for five and a half seasons, serving as a big hit for the streaming service during that time. After airing the first half of the show’s fifth and final season late last year, it’s now being reported that the series will present its last episodes on Tuesday, June 2....

FX Productions (FXP) has closed a new, three-year overall production deal with Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton and their RCG Productions in a significant pact that includes an additional two-season order of their hit FXX comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia; FXX’s series order for a half-hour comedy to be created by McElhenney, Day and Howerton, and Luvh Rakhe, starring Tracy Morgan; a comedy Pilot order (TBA); and numerous script deals, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions....

Gale Anne Hurd has acquired Nameless for her own Valhalla Motion Pictures banner. Chris Bullet wrote the spec script, which is based on the government’s Witness Protection program. The thriller finds a group of assassins targeting a key witness who has been hidden away inside a top-secret U.S. facility that serves to protect those going to trial. When the area is compromised, the marshal and his inhabitants take a stand to save the witness from being murdered....

Charlie Cox is aware that he is getting a second chance as Daredevil in Daredevil: Born Again. However, if things don’t go well for the mega 18-episode MCU series, then he thinks that could be the end of his run as the Marvel hero. This week, Handler has been serving as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and it’s a role she had no issues with given her decades of hosting experience. Handler, who wrapped up her Netflix talk show Chelsea in 2017, has made it clear that she wants to stay on late night television after she’s finished with guest hosting Kimmel and feels that now is the best time for her to launch her own late night talk show on broadcast television....

What is meant to be lighthearted competition resulted in a cheating scandal during the debut of the Jonas brothers’ new series Claim to Fame, where mystery contestants are challenged to guess the famous relatives of their fellow cast mates. As with any game show, there are rules and for this one, no internet, no television and no access to the outside world is allowed. Contestants are not allowed to have personal phones, but during the first elimination, Kevin and Frankie Jonas revealed that one of the contestants cheated by using their phone....

A sequel is typically the mark of a successful first film, and a third film that marks a franchise that has established its legacy in pop culture and film history. The Cloverfield series, however, defies this convention in that the momentum of the first film did not carry over into the second, and yet a third was commissioned. Perhaps the true Cloverfield paradox is how a franchise with overall average reviews and dwindling pop culture relevance has managed to survive the test of time....
