At long last, we know the title of the Game of Thrones prequel series. We just learned recently that HBO has tapped Oscar-nominee Naomi Watts to headline the cast of the new show, which was one of five different spin-offs the network had in development. Now, author and franchise creator George R.R. Martin has confirmed the title of the upcoming prequel in a new blog post. As had been suspected, and even suggested by the author previously, the series will officially be titled The Long Night....

Christopher Meloni will be back on television as Elliott Stabler this fall, as NBC has revealed when the character’s upcoming Law & Order: Special Victims Unit spin-off will premiere along with its official title. Previously, it had been announced that Meloni would be reprising the iconic role, but it wasn’t clear what the show would be called or when fans could expect to see it. Details of the upcoming Daredevil Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, are currently being kept under wraps, but a new rumor claims to reveal the direction of the MCU outing. We finally know when DC Universe, the company’s upcoming streaming service that has been in the works for over a year, will launch. DC will officially launch their streaming service on September 15, to coincide with this year’s annual Batman Day. The announcement was made on the first episode of DC Daily, which was streamed live on YouTube now but will exist as part of DC Universe once it launches. Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired the worldwide rights to Detention Films’ Detention, which just took home the Youth Jury prize for best FutureWave Feature Film at the Seattle International Film Festival. After 15 years, a sequel to the beloved Disney classic, Enchanted, has finally arrived. Taking place a decade after the first film, Disenchanted once again follows Giselle as she embarks on another magical adventure. Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer are delaying the release of the fantasy action feature Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time by almost a year, from June 19, 2009, to Memorial Day weekend 2010. According to Variety, Disney officially said it wants to allow plenty of time for post-production, considering that the tentpole will require extensive special effects to create its fantasy world and setpieces. Decision to delay the release by a year caught some by surprise, although the calendar could continue to see major reshufflings because of the ongoing labor strife in Hollywood....

World Wrestling Entertainment announced the sale of its ratings juggernaut, WWE Monday Night RAW, on USA Network to Donald Trump.
