While the countdown continues towards Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4, HBO has suffered from a widespread cyber-attack where hackers leaked what is alleged to be a script or a treatment for next week’s episode online. While the actual episode itself hasn’t leaked yet, the hackers did leak this coming week’s episodes of Ballers and Room 104, with the hackers also threatening to release even more data. Just days after Game of Thrones Season 7 had began shooting in Northern Ireland, with Jim Broadbent announced as the first new cast member, the show has now added TV legend Angela Lansbury. No details were given for what character she will play, but the actress will be appearing in two Season 7 episodes. The actress will be required on set for four days of work to film this role....
The CBS network has planned live stage adaptations for classic TV sitcoms Cheers and The Brady Bunch, both set to debut in 2016. The Brady Bunch play will be a musical, while the Cheers adaptation is said to, “showcase classic moments” from the beloved sitcom. It was not confirmed if any cast members will reprise their roles for these adaptations. Cheers ran for 275 episodes through 11 seasons between the years 1982 and 1993, showcasing the lives of the patrons who frequent a Boston bar....

In my opinion Chris Rock is pound for pound the best stand-up comic working in film today. However he doesn’t often get the credit he deserves for his attempts at make interesting, thought provoking and funny films rather than just giving in and making stupid Hollywood comedies. Rock has never played a fat woman in a movie like some of his peers so often do. No, instead the actor/comedian who is also an accomplished writer and director makes remakes of obscure French films like “Chloe in the Afternoon” (“I think I love My Wife”) or Warren Beatty movies from the ’70s like “Heaven Can Wait” (“Down To Earth”)....

Movie studio Dimension Films has remade a cult hit from 1974 about a group of female students being terrorized by a killer during Christmas and is releasing the film, Black Christmas, on December 25 – tagging it as the “ultimate slay ride.” But religious groups have condemned the timing of the release of the R-rated slasher movie as tasteless and offensive, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “To have a movie that emphasizes murder and mayhem at Christmas, a time of celebration and joy around the world seems to be ill founded,” said Mathew Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, an organization dedicated to upholding religious freedom and traditional family values....
