Howdy, Neighbor! is an upcoming horror film, and some of the people involved should look familiar to Disney Channel fans. According to Variety, actors who have signed on to the film consist of Matthew Scott Montgomery, Debby Ryan, Alyson Stoner, Kevin Chamberlin, Tim Bagley, Shayne Topp, and Damien Haas. Edward Norton doesn’t know whether or not he’ll be donning the ripped purple pants of The Incredible Hulk again anytime soon. It was revealed earlier this year that Eternals director Chloe Zhao would be taking on a new version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula as writer, director and producer. While there has been little in the way of new details about the alleged “sci-fi western” take on the classic gothic horror story, Zhao herself has been teasing the project with a new post on her Instagram that depicts Nosferatu on horseback, which she captioned with just an emoji of a glass of red wine – although we all know that will likely mean something else in this context....
Deadline New York is reporting that Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp has removed I Love You Phillip Morris from Consolidated Pictures Group. In addition to this, Newmarket Films might be releasing the Jim Carrey/Ewan McGregor film this fall. Consolidated Pictures Group is apparently being “dropped because it failed to meet any of the financial obligations of a deal that included a $3 million minimum guarantee” on the film. EuropaCorp turned in a finished movie 90 days ago, then sent Consolidated Pictures Group a letter in mid-March warning them that they could lose the picture if they didn’t abide by the contract....

Lawman is a new FX series based on the popular Elmore Leonard character “Raylan Givens”, as featured in his short story Fire in the Hole. Developed by Graham Yost (Boomtown, Speed) and staring Timothy Olyphant, Lawman will premiere on FX in spring of 2010. Olyphant stars in the lead role of Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens. Givens is a modern day 19th century-style lawman, enforcing his brand of justice in a way that puts a target on his back with criminals and places him at odds with his bosses in the Marshal service....
San Diego Comic Con is going to seem a little smaller this year due to Game of Thrones and Westworld deciding not to participate this year. The news comes after it was announced that Marvel Studios will not be attending this year either.
