DC Direct has revealed its full line-up of collectibles for Watchmen. These items will start appearing in stores in January 2009, and the line-up includes action figures and busts of the characters. All of the figures are nicely detailed on the website, except for that of Dr. Manhattan (who was also the only one of the core characters who hasn’t had a picture released yet.) But they did still provide a teaser image of his figure....

It seems that a fantasy series will go on without the Mouse House’s involvement. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney will not produce or finance the third film in the Narnia series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. While the studio wouldn’t go into further detail on the decision, it was said that financial and logistical reasons were behind the move to leave the franchise. The film was set to start principal photography in the spring, for a 2010 release, but the move puts the film and those attached in limbo....
Don Cheadle, the actor who plays War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has teased that Disney+’s Secret Invasion series will set up an upcoming MCU movie. Cheadle’s comments come after Marvel Studios labeled the series as the first “crossover event series,” and Martin Freeman (Everett Ross actor) teased the number of characters crossing over with each other. There is at least one application that Facebook wants nothing to do with. According to Variety, the popular social networking site Facebook has pulled a promotional page for the recent film Untraceable. The “Kill With Me” page for the film closely mirrored the plot, which surrounds a mysterious, untraceable website where viewers can watch a man murder people. The Facebook promo page enabled fans to watch pieces of a torture scene from the movie, and the more fans that joined, the more of the clip they would see....
TNT has renewed Falling Skies, cable’s #1 new series, for a second season. The epic saga about the aftermath of an all-out invasion by an alien military force has been a tremendous hit both domestically and internationally. Falling Skies, which airs Sundays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), stars Noah Wyle and comes to TNT from DreamWorks Television and executive producer Steven Spielberg. TNT has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to air in summer 2012....
