Yellowstone’s prequel 1883 follows the Dutton family and retells Western expansion as they flee in search of a better future in Montana. “I can’t wait,” commented LaMonica Garrett on 1883’s Blu-ray and DVD release. Garrett plays Thomas in the series, the right-hand man of Shea Brennan. “We shot a handful of stuff that didn’t make the final edits. So, if even a fraction of that is in the bonus footage, it would be like watching it all over again....

With production still under way on the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones, new details have emerged about the highly-anticipated final episode and the spin-offs being planned for the future. It has previously been confirmed that there are five separate shows in development, with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin working with writers Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island), Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential) and Carly Wray (Mad Men), with each show set before the events of the flagship series....

Game of Thrones has finally announced its first major cast addition for Season 7. And it’s someone that comes from the world of Harry Potter! Earlier this month, a casting call surfaced for Game of Thrones Season 7, and it gave us a hint at some of the new charaters being introduced. Now, we have word that Oscar-winning actor Jim Broadbent has become the first casting addition for this highly-anticipated season....

Christina Hendricks, Olivia Munn and SNL’s Seth Meyers have boarded Sarah Jessica Parker’s movie version of the book I Don’t Know How She Does It, written by British author Allison Pearson, according to 24 Frames. The movie is based on Allison Pearson’s first-person comic tale of a high-powered finance type (Sarah Jessica Parker) who’s also the mother of two young children and trying to balance the many competing elements in her life....

If you love feel-good Hallmark holiday movies but secretly wish they were a little less PG-13, you’ll want to be at the big-screen dinner table for Christmas with the Campbells when it hits theaters on December 2. While the first trailer for the raunchy romantic comedy starts off like a traditional made-for-TV holiday romance, with Jesse (Brittany Snow) sweetly telling her boyfriend’s mom that she doesn’t need anything for Christmas because she’s already found “true love” (which is, of course, the greatest gift of all)....

It is hard to believe that the return of Chucky in Don Mancini’s TV series is almost at the end of its first season, but ahead of next week’s eighth episode, the new trailer shows the demon doll is not going out quietly and is instead bringing a whole army of Chuckys to play. The final episode is entitled “An Affair to Dismember” and according to the synopsis, “Scores old and new will be settled, and sparks will fly, as Chucky’s diabolical plan comes to fruition at a particularly dangerous–and public–venue....

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan screenwriter Dan Mazer and The History Boys producer Damian Jones have struck a deal with Working Title Films to make a comedy movie about the Eurovision Song Contest, according to Variety. The idea for Eurovision: The Movie was originated by Mazer and Jones, who will produce with Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner for Working Title. This annual TV songfest brings together pop acts from 42 countries to compete for its grand prize, with the winner decided by votes from national juries....

Two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis will star as the 16th President of the United States in DreamWorks Studios’ Lincoln, to be directed by Steven Spielberg. The announcement was made today by Spielberg and Stacey Snider, Co-Chairman and CEO of DreamWorks Studios. “Daniel Day-Lewis would have always been counted as one of the greatest of actors, were he from the silent era, the golden age of film or even some time in cinema’s distant future....

Simon West will direct an adaptation of David Zucchino’s nonfiction book Thunder Run: The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Zucchino will write the screenplay. The Con Air director will also produce the feature, adapted by Pulitzer Prize-winning Los Angeles Times correspondent Zucchino from his chronicle of the pivotal April 2003 Iraq War battle. “When I first read Zucchino’s book, I realized immediately it was one of the great accounts of modern warfare: heroic, exciting, tragic and ultimately political,” said West....

Doug Jones, who provided the body acting for the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer doesn’t know anything certain about a proposed Silver Surfer spin-off. SCI FI Wire reports that Jones considers a future film starring the Surfer to be only a rumor at this point. “I don’t have any information that you haven’t read on the Internet,” Jones said. “As it stands with a franchise-type character like that, I did sign a three-picture deal, so I have two more pictures where they have the option to use me, and I hope they do....

20th Century Fox has hired Real Steel director Shawn Levy for their upcoming remake Fantastic Voyage. James Cameron will produce this 3D adventure based on the classic 1966 Fantastic Voyage, which follows a group of scientists who are shrunk and sent through the bloodstream of a colleague hoping to save his life. The directing gig had been open since May, when we reported that Paul Greengrass had left the project....

You can bring home this latest romantic comedy in DVD and Blu-Ray this June. Fool’s Gold is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on June 17. The standard DVD will be priced at $28.98 while the Blu-Ray will street at $35.99. The film stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.
