A new clip has been released for Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, and it’s one of the best yet. Comic-Con International has just released the full Sunday, July 23 schedule for Comic-Con 2017, which brings the convention to a close. The con has been jam-packed with TV events this year, and the final day of the Con is the same way, with highly-anticipated panels for The CW’s Supernatural, TNT’s The Last Ship, Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and Doctor Who in Hall H, and the world premiere of Marvel’s Spider-Man, which will debut on Disney XD later this summer....

After the pilot episode for Season 1 of Devs ended, many of us had a huge amount of questions we needed answers to. From a brutal kill to an inevitable lead character shift, it definitely presented a promising TV show without revealing much of its premise. We were hooked. Nonetheless, the season finale upped the ante. It actually generated more questions in the midst of a resolution that yes, solved characters’ arcs, but left audiences begging for an extension of its ridiculously cool and relevant concept....

Disney has now confirmed classic episodes of The Simpsons will be available on Disney+ in their original 4:3 aspect ratio starting in early 2020. Following the launch of the anticipated streaming service, fans of The Simpsons were dismayed to find that classic episodes had been cropped or stretched to fill out a 16:9 aspect ratio, ruining countless visual gags in the process. Recognizing the complaints from fans, Disney has announced they will offer the 4:3 versions of the episodes early next year, but viewers will still have the choice of watching the 16:9 versions if they wish....

Walt Disney Studios has signed a new pact with Google-owned YouTube for an online rental agreement, where customers can rent hundreds of Disney movies for as low as $1.99. Here’s the official statement posted on Google’s blog. New releases, such as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, will be available to rent for $4.99, and catalog titles will cost $1.99. The rental allows users 30 days to watch the movie, although the rental expires 48 hours after the movie starts playing....

Goliath and the Gargoyles are back! Disney’s beloved dark fantasy franchise is returning for an all-new season, but this time in comic book form courtesy of Dynamite Entertainment. This news comes to us from CBR.com. For those that are new, Gargoyles first rose to life in 1994. Produced by Walt Disney Television Animation, the show ran for three seasons. The series followed a group of gargoyles, creatures that turned to stone during the day, but at night awakened to protect the castles or territories they were sworn into....

Doug Liman is back to work on his Untitled Moon Project at Paramount, looking to cast the project, which at one time had Jake Gyllenhaal attached for the male lead. The story centers on a renegade group of former space employees, led by an Eastern European woman, who travel the world, stealing space equipment in an attempt to go back to the moon to acquire an energy source. The last item to steal – or in this case, kidnap – is an ex-NASA employee....

Eli Roth has been making the rounds this week to promote the uncensored director’s cut of Cabin Fever on Blu-ray, which is being released today, February 16th, in conjunction with the standard issue DVD release of that film’s long benched sequel Cabin Fever 2: Spring Break. While chatting with the director, we also talked a bit about his next feature film, the sci-fi thriller Endangered Species. True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld has joined the OddLot Entertainment’s sci-fi tentpole, Ender’s Game. The actress would play Petra Arkanian, the only girl in Salamander Army who quickly becomes Ender’s ally and trusted right hand. Asa Butterfield has already signed on to play the title character, a gifted young gamer skilled in strategy and logistics who’s recruited by the government to help battle an insect-like alien race. The studio is also search for its adult lead, Colonel Hyrum Graff, who trains the young male recruits at an elite military academy....

IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that the next installment in the popular Final Destination franchise, Final Destination 5, will be the first film in the horror series to open in IMAX. The film will be released in 223 domestic and select international IMAX 3D digital theatres simultaneously with the film’s worldwide release on Aug. 12, 2011. Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution Dan Fellman stated, “Seeing Final Destination 5 in IMAX 3D will make this an entirely new experience for even the most die-hard fan....

The new Rob Reiner movie Flipped will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray formats on November 23. We don’t have any cover art images for either title as of yet, but the standard DVD will cost $27.95 SRP while the Blu-ray will be priced at $35.99 SRP. Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling are electrifying in Gregory Hoblit’s otherwise mediocre thriller, “Fracture”. The pair put on a terrific cat and mouse display, only to be let down by the tremendous inadequacies of the screenplay. Hopkins stars as Ted Crawford, a ruthless and calculating aircraft designer.
