Matt Murdock may be pulling some punches when Charlie Cox reprises the role for the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. Previously, Cox played the character for three seasons on Marvel’s Daredevil from 2015 to 2018. The series originally streamed at Netflix before making its way over to Disney+, and along with the move came the arrival of Cox’s Matt Murdock in the MCU. After Cox reprised the role for Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, he’ll take center stage in his own new series Daredevil: Born Again....

A new promo for the hour-long DuckTales special featuring beloved superhero Darkwing Duck has now been released ahead of the episode next week. While the clip does not show much from the special, we do get a glimpse of several updated versions of classic Darkwing Duck villains Bushroot, Quackerjack, The Liquidator, and Megavolt, meaning the duck-themed hero is going to be keeping very busy. Let’s hope he doesn’t quack under the pressure....

Batfleck returns. It has now been confirmed by Aquaman star Jason Momoa that Ben Affleck will reprise the role of Bruce Wayne AKA Batman in the upcoming DC sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. And comic book movie fans are ecstatic. Taking to social media to celebrate, DC and Batman fans cannot wait to see more from Ben Affleck’s iteration of The Dark Knight. The King of Atlantis himself, Jason Momoa, took to Instagram to reveal that Ben Affleck will reprise the role of Bruce Wayne in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom....

Casting is underway for Disney’s Descendants, a contemporary live-action adventure-comedy that taps into Disney’s heritage characters - notably its most evil villains - to introduce their progeny, a modern day generation of teenagers who ultimately question the evil that’s always been in their hearts. Doom Patrol, along with Titans, have become the latest victims of Warner Discovery’s current crisis. Both shows have been canceled, joining the long list of productions forgotten by the company, as happened with Westworld or the scandalous cancelation of Batgirl, a film that was finishing its post-production and was almost ready to be released. Initially planned for the DC Universe, the series continued on HBO Max when the comic book company’s exclusive streaming failed but seemed popular and stable enough to keep going....

Dr. Phil has come under fire in the wake of “toxic workplace” allegations leveled against the program, but the host has already fired back. On Thursday, a report published by BuzzFeed News details allegations made by a dozen current and former employees of the show. Among the claims are accusations of verbal abuse, fear, intimidation, and racism. Through his lawyer, Phil McGraw (aka Dr. Phil) has vehemently denied these claims....

Elisabeth Moss has just accepted her most sinister role yet, as the Emmy-winning actress will play real-life Texas killer Candy Montgomery for a new television limited series. Tentatively called Candy, the project comes from UCP – a division of Universal Studio Group – and is currently being shopped to various premium cable networks and streaming services. Candy will also reunite Moss with Mad Men writer Robin Veith, who wrote the pilot script for the limited series....

Emmy Rossum was one of the actresses in the running to play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman in 2015’s Fantastic Four reboot. But the Shameless star lost the role to Kate Mara, which probably doesn’t feel too bad now considering the massive failure of the film, but at the time, Rossum says she was “devasted.” And it’s understandable as the Fantastic Four are one of Marvel’s most popular characters, and Fox’s 2015 reboot was a second attempt at introducing them in a live-action film....

Many years after the tragedy of the Holocaust, the world is still coming to learn about the many people and faces who slipped between history’s cracks. A 2022 documentary, Nelly & Nadine, takes inspiration from footage of concentration camp survivors in Sweden. One of the women depicted in the reel is a woman named Nadine Hwang, who, remarkably, found love in the camps with another woman: Nelly. The documentary combines history with the search of Nelly’s granddaughter, Sylvie, as she tries to uncover the truth about the two women’s relationship....

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder, directed by Taika Waititi, Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) journey of self-discovery is interrupted when a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) seeks to murder all gods.
